Testosterone Enanthate

TESTOSTERONE ENANTHATE 300mg / 10 mL

Composition:
1 mL of the solution contains: Testosterone Enanthate 300 mg and, Benzyl benzoate, Arachis Oil, Benzyl alcohol (as a preservative).

Form of the drug:
Clear oil solution from slightly yellow to yellow color with a characteristic smell.

Pharmacological properties:
Testosterone Enanthate is a testosterone ester. The testosterone is the main sex hormone which is synthesized and secreted by the testes. It stimulates the growth and development of male reproductive organs and secondary sexual signs (prostate maturation, seminal vesicles, penis and scrotum), hair, laryngeal development, skeletal muscles and fat distribution. It stimulates the production of erythropoietin and red blood cells.

Pharmacokinetic properties:
Testosterone Enanthate is absorbed slowly. The maximum blood concentration is observed 72 hours after administration. Its effect lasts two to four weeks. In the blood, almost 98% of testosterone binds to the specific binding globulin, testosterone and estradiol fraction. Biotransformation occurs in the liver.

Indications:

Dosage and route of administration:
This medicine is given intramuscularly as directed by your pharmacist. It should not be administered intravenously. Intramuscular injections should be inserted deep into the gluteal muscle. For adults: 50-200 mg should be given every two to four weeks. Do not exceed the dose. (400 mg for one month) For women with breast cancer 200-400 every two to four weeks During puberty 50-200 every two to four weeks, from 4 to 6 months IT SHOUID NOT BE GIVEN INTRAVENOUSLY

Side effects:
Virilization symptoms; Change in menstrual period, sudden change (or increase or decrease) in sexual desire Acne, hair loss and enlargement of the prostate Accelerated sexual development Bleeding Patients should be instructed to report any of the following: nausea, vomiting, changes in skin color, ankle swelling, too frequent or persistent erections of the penis.

Contraindications:
Breast cancer, renal failure, pregnancy, atherosclerosis, diabetes, increased susceptibility to steroids, myocardial infarction, heart failure.

Overdose:
In this case, treatment should be stopped. When the symptoms disappear, we can start with a small dose.

Storage:
